EDITOR’S
NOTE
Chloe Amour, one of porn’s resident anal queens, tells me she’s quite shy in real life.
“I think a lot of people in this industry, something they don’t know about me is that I’m
actually very introverted,” Amour says.
“That was always something people couldn’t understand when I did feature dancing. They
were like, ‘How could you possibly go on stage naked and dance in front of strangers? Or
how could you do porn?’
“You know, I can’t tell you how, but all I know is that because I’m very introverted that’s
why the effects of travel are a little different for me than for some people. It’s not that I don’t
like to travel. I just don’t love the travel process because it’s kind of like an overstimulation
thing of being around lots of people at the airport, on the plane, in the car, just dealing with
strangers.
“People who are extroverted get energy from being around people. People who are
introverted, they lose energy.”
Amour sometimes juggled three jobs at once in her home state of Texas prior to her first
foray into adult. She learned how to hustle during her teenage years, holding down part-time
gigs at Hollister, Target, DSW, Six Flags, Bill Miller Bar-B-Q and Darque Tan—often while
also taking a full slate of college courses.
“I don’t know how I did it,” she admits.
Chloe also worked as a hostess at an Italian restaurant, as a leasing consultant at an
apartment complex, did promotional modeling and then stripping.
That stellar work ethic now is paying off for Amour, who is two years into her second stint
in the industry and thriving.
“I think it’s gone well,” Chloe says humbly. “I think that I just need to always remind myself
to stay focused on the positive. … I just need to learn to keep myself calm.”
