“It was scary, but it was really liberating. I grew
to really enjoy it.”
An old adage said, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”—especially when that
woman’s scorn goes from fuel to fire. For Riley Jean, it rapidly went from scorn to porn,
after first finding popularity on social media platform Reddit.
“I started doing it because I was being cheated on. It was a mix of—I felt bad about myself
and I wanted to say, ‘fuck you’ to him—so, it was like two birds with one stone because I
could get validation and it just got popular,” the petite brunette recalled.
“I was doing it on Reddit. I was doing everything faceless. I kinda put my toe in, then got
thrown into the whole thing because my pictures got really popular on Reddit. So, that’s when
I realized I could make money doing it, but I was too scared to show my face,” she said.
One man’s infidelity led to a journey of self-discovery for Jean, who, prior to being an
adult performer, had been a computer developer with a work-from-home job. If you would
have asked her six years ago if being a cam model was in her future, she might have said
you were crazy. But life can take you on a crazy ride, if you let it—and if, like Jean, you post
your revenge nudes online.
“It was just luck,” Jean said. “In my case, I posted on [subreddit] r/GoneWild. It’s purely
for voyeurism. You can’t be a seller, you can’t do porn, you can’t have an OnlyFans. So,
I posted a picture at the right time and it got really popular. I was getting messages from
people wanting to buy stuff, so I was posting on GoneWild but selling secretly. Then, once I
started doing porn and I got an OnlyFans, they banned me off GoneWild. I was able to post
in other subreddits, though... It was me and another girl that were really popular on Reddit
at the time, and she mentioned something about SexyJobs. So, I went to look it up...”
Jean’s interesting entry into the industry escalated quickly after she signed up at SexyJobs,
thinking she might be able to sell more photos there. “I didn’t know you could get recruited.
So, I got contacted by AMA Modeling, and then six hours later I was on a plane, on my
way to Florida, to shoot for companies. It was really impulsive and fast. Like I said, I was
scorned and angry at my ex.”
“ [AMA Modeling agent] Brian Face-timed me and let me talk to a girl that lived at the
model house, and I just had a good feeling about him,” she continued. “I’m pretty good at
trusting my gut, and I looked at his website, and I was like—he lives very close to where
my dad does in Florida, so I thought, if it goes bad, the worst thing that happens is I get a
free trip to Florida because Brian was paying.”
