She’s a porn fan’s dream girl, but Alexa Chains would have you believe her life is a snore. The 28-year-old stunner gets along with her family, goes to church, has a strong work ethic, and once worked as a dental assistant prior to pursuing a career in porn.
“I’m tame. I live a very boring life, I love the mundane,” Chains said. “I have a strict routine. I love to exercise. I love to eat at the same time. I have a very close family life. I’m very much involved with my grandparents, my sister...we’re a huge family—but very boring. And it’s awesome because then I get to go to work and have all this fun and really let loose.”
Mom knows about the fun Chains is having at work but there’s zero drama from her mama. “I was crazy when I was younger, a wild child, so this is nothing,” Chains said. “I went to an all-girls Catholic high school so that should tell you. It’s like lesbians in the making. Anyone that really can party or has a huge sexual appetite—I think it’s all the repression.”
Despite the repression, this Catholic school survivor still kneels for Christ. “I go to church,” Chains chuckled. “There’s nothing wrong with having faith. I’m sucking dick and going to church the next day. That’s just who I am. And, you know, the priest is wearing a dress. Who is he to judge me?”
Chains thought about doing porn at 18 but was married by 19. “I don’t think I would have had the maturity if I had started when I wanted to,” she reflected. “In terms of professionalism and mental health, I feel like I’ve developed. I don’t feel pressured into anything. I feel heard. It comes from my experience.”
Chains is now “happily divorced” and ready to finally start her adult career at 28—even if that means starring in MILF movies.
“At first I didn’t understand that if you’re over 25, you’re a MILF,” Chains said. “I figured that out. But I always liked the classical style of MILFs. They always have them in stockings and luxurious lingerie. And the plot lines are alluring because the dynamic is switched. She’s seducing a young man. It’s relatable. I’m a divorcee. A lot of bored housewives are fantasizing about the mailman or the pizza delivery boy.”
Did Chains fantasize about any couriers while married? “I did, but not in that way,” she laughed. “I was a bad wife. I had a lot of affairs.”
Chains divorced in 2022 and joined the adult industry in July of this year, repped by OC Modeling. “I was like what better time than now to embark on this journey,” she said. “And it is a job. You make it your job and you can do well. If you take it seriously.”
But it’s more than a job for Chains. Her fascination with porn runs deeper than that of today’s average starlet.
“I have nostalgia and admiration for the golden age of porn,” Chains said. “I’ve watched a lot of 80s lesbian movies and, really, just everything. The artistic aspect of it is amazing because everyone from the director to the makeup artist are co-creating a vision. It’s very theatrical. Sometimes the plot is hilarious, or it can be really sexy.
“In this way, I get to try on different characters,” Chains continued. “Porn does have a level of acting. And even though it can be funny and very much not realistic, the whole point is it’s a fantasy. It’s people’s desires. Everyone watches porn. People’s grandparents—even though they don’t want to admit it—watch porn. So it feeds this wonderful sense of sexuality. And I like the way it’s very empowering.”
