Willow Ryder points to three key elements that make a winning sex scene.
“First of all, I think really bringing the energy,” she tells me. “And then really knowing how
to connect with your partner and with the camera.”
It’s a combination that has defined the terrific first three years of Ryder’s career.
Now armed with her first performance contract for Ricky’s Room, her first Pornhub award
for Top Anal Performer, an XRCO award for Vicki Chase Orgasmic Oralist and a stellar
reputation in industry circles, business has never been better for the former esthetician from
Nashville who is finding time to relax this summer.
“I’ve been spending a lot of time with family so it’s been nice,” says Willow, who resides
in southeastern Florida. “I like living on the East Coast better and it’s closer to home which
feels more comforting to me.”
With nearly 800,000 followers on X and 200 million-plus video views on Pornhub at press
time, Ryder is no longer able to go out without the chance of being recognized.
“Yeah, it happens pretty frequently,” Willow admits. “At the airport I get noticed a lot. Or
like if I’m at the beach people notice. They’ll just come up to me and ask if they can take a
picture with me for the most part. … I love it.”
Brian Berke, the owner of the South Florida-based AMA Modeling who has represented
Ryder from Day 1, recalls giving Willow a pep talk early in her career.
“She asked me, ‘Do you think I have potential, do you think I can do this?’ And I said I
don’t even want to hear you say this, you are going to be a star. And she ran with it,” Berke
says. “She had some great people who came into her career and it just took off and it’s
been a lot of fun watching it.”
He adds, “She has a wonderful mother. She’s very close to her family. She’s a good
Southern girl, she’s never lost that.”
