“I moved to LA in, like, the middle of
the pandemic with no knowledge of the
industry at all. Just—I’ve always wanted
to do it.”
Since starting her career in 2021, Nicole Aria has been pretty busy. There’s her OnlyFans (where
she worked with legendary Lexington Steele in October), and nearly 300 scenes for studios including
Evil Angel, Hustler, Kink, Team Skeet, DP Divas, and Girlfriends Films, among many others.
That’s a lot since she was a newcomer who dived right into the deep end of the porn pool. In
fact, Aria was determined to make a splash and she wasn’t going to be discouraged by lack of
experience. Like many modern starlets, she had been thinking about an adult career for a while
before making up her mind to try it.
But first, Aria had to figure out how to get from Florida to LA, the (adult) entertainment capital
of the world. The most efficient way to fund the move, Aria decided, was to get naked for an
audience ASAP.
“I’d never even stepped foot in a strip club because, in general, it gave me anxiety—because I
love hot women,” Aria recalled for AVN. “I wanted to give [the dancers] all my money and I didn’t
have all that money to give because I was paying for school. So, I didn’t go to the clubs because
I couldn’t make it rain.”
Fortune smiles on the bold, the saying goes. An eager amateur, Aria did her rain dance and
earned enough money, in two nights, to get out to the West Coast.
“I had just gotten my college degree. I was like, ‘Okay, I have my backup plan and now it’s time to
get the heck out of Florida.’ I’m from the Miami area and I had no idea there was an adult industry
there. In my head, it was just LA because I knew nothing about like the industry. I just knew I wanted
to do it,” she said. “My first scene was mid-March of 2021. I moved to LA in, like, the middle of
the pandemic with no knowledge of the industry at all. Just—I’ve always wanted to do it.”
“I love it,” she said happily. “I still don’t really know how to dance, but I’m with the Lee Agency.
Jessica Ryan told me she loved being with them and I was like, ‘okay, sweet.’ It’s okay that I don’t
really have an experience.”
