When Kira Noir vows revenge on her
cheating ex-boyfriend Ricky Johnson,
her plot involves seducing Johnson's
newly-divorced dad Lexington Steele
and marrying him, leading to a wedding-
day comedy of revenge fucking, with
cell-phone DMs goading the wronged
into more outrageous acts of reprisal.
When Johnson gets horizontal with
Noir's ex Jasmine Sherni ("She ghosted
me! I thought she was a lesbian!") to
avenge their wronging, Noir shows
Johnson's girlfriend Chanel Camryn the
pictures and goads her into fucking her
ex Zane Walker—and sending Johnson
the cell-phone video of it. Then Noir
fucks Johnson's bud Alex Mack with
Johnson watching and eventually joining
in, leading to a climax that illustrates the
title perfectly.
Kira dominates Payback's a Bitch,
confiding into camera and expertly
straddling the line between confident-
independent-woman-forging-her-own-
path and psycho-bitch-from-hell-bent-
on-revenge-at-any-cost. Ricky Johnson
matches her note-for-note, and the
supporting players play their parts well.
