Gal Ritchie wants to get her driver’s license.
The 23-year-old adult performer, who moved from her tiny village in England to Los Angeles
in August 2023, tells me she just booked some driving lessons.
“So I’m going to finally become an LA resident who can drive, which will be nice,” she says.
Gal reveals she learned how to handle a stick shift for a couple years in the U.K., but then
COVID hit and she never took her driving test.
“Then I moved out here, so then it’s like I had to start from scratch again basically,” she
explains. “And I know I need to drive here because I just paid my taxes yesterday and my
accountant was like, ‘You’re spending so much on Uber. You could save so much money
if you got a car.’”
Ritchie may not have been driving herself to set during her first 18 months in the industry,
but she still found herself on the fast track to porn glory, winning the 2025 Best New Starlet
crown on January 25 in front of 3500-plus inside The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
The ambitious Spiegler Girl says it took her several reps before she found her rhythm.
“It was a big learning curve,” Gal says. “I think it takes a minute for you to be able to get
comfortable. One, just being naked in front of a bunch of people. When I first came out here
in June [2023], I was working with quite small crews. So it would be like two or three people.
“When I came in August, I worked for Vixen. And that’s a huge crew. So it really jumped
the size of the production. I think I’d done enough research where I had a baseline of what
I thought my days on set would be like. But I didn’t realize the production value of some
companies, how much money they put into these sets and these videos. I didn’t realize that
there would be two camera guys, three lighting guys, you know I thought the productions
would be much much smaller.
“When I would turn up to these huge houses I wouldn’t believe it.”
