“I do a really good job of making the other people around me happy.”
River Lynn started on-camera performing in her hometown of Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2022.
“I was with this boyfriend, we wanted to do OnlyFans during COVID, and we did that for a year- ish,” Lynn explains. “Then we broke up, but I wanted to pursue this. He had taken a couple of flights to L.A. to work so I decided I’m going to do the same thing. I reached out to an agent, and got on a flight... and here I am.”
She says her first scene—with the late Jake Adams—was “exhilarating... but terrifying.”
“Being from the South, it’s very taboo to do anything like that publicly,” Lynn says. “I was very scared for that reason, because it was taking that big first step. But I’ve always been a super- sexual person, so I didn’t have much to worry about on that end. Taking deep breaths, crossing that barrier, stepping into who I actually am, rather than who I was raised to be.”
Lynn continues, “The person I really am is very sexual, very horny, but also very vivacious and happy all the time. I do a really good job of making the other people around me happy. I get really happy on the little things in life that maybe other people miss, like looking at the seashells on the beach, feeling the breeze on my skin. Trying to be present. That helps me in my scenes because I’m putting myself in the moment.”
Moving from the Deep South to Canoga Park was a culture shock, she says.
“It was definitely the yes-ma’am-no-ma’am thing,” Lynn tells AVN. “I was saying that to everyone. My agent, people at restaurants. ‘Yes, ma’am. Thank you, sir.’ Anyone who was serving me or helping me in some way. I had to train myself out of it. There are a lot of gender-fluid people out here and I can’t say that, I’m trying to be respectful and it’s coming out disrespectful.”
In her spare time, Lynn says she likes to read romances and sex books.
“Romance with an edge,” River says. “‘There’s a girl and a guy, and they don’t much like each other, but there’s only one bed: What will they do?’ That kind of stuff.”
She says her best scenes are Black Ambush with Isiah Maxwell, “anything I’ve done with Dogfart. I love Dogfart.”
And a scene she did with Danny Mountain for Hustler.
“We had a lot of chemistry on set,” Lynn says. “We had a really great time just figuring each other out. It was really fun. He brought me out of my shell. It’s difficult for me to dirty-talk during sex, because I’m so focused on the feeling and the pleasure. I can’t form sentences while I’m having sex, but Danny was asking questions to make me say stuff. He asked me ‘What are you doing right now?’ I know what I’m doing, I’m cumming. It made me be, like, ‘I’m cumming all over your cock.’ Got my words out there.”
Her words to live by are: “Self-discipline is the highest form of self love.”
