“I did flying trapeze, and then I did the aerials...”
Like many a porn minx before her, Demi Hawks followed a well-traipsed path to the triple-X video kingdom—including stripping, camming and OnlyFans-ing—eventually landing in front of so-called “mainstream” porn cameras in the summer of 2022.
Very much unlike many before her, however, Demi’s journey included a decidedly off-the-beaten-path detour. Specifically, to the circus. (And no, that’s not a euphemism ... we are in fact talking the actual circus.)
“I always loved the flexi tricks when I was stripping, and there were some girls at the club who were like, ‘Hey you’re really flexible ... you should join the circus with us,’” the 2024 AVN Best New Starlet nominee recalls. “And, like, I was free, I had no reason why not. So I joined the circus.”
Explaining that the circus in question was a local one, she goes on to rattle off the various acts she performed with the troupe: “I did flying trapeze, and then I did the aerials—aerial silks, aerial hoop, static trapeze—I did floor contortion work, and I was also the knife thrower’s target, which was super fun.”
To be clear, Demi did not just jump willy-nilly into executing such spectacular feats of derring-do; on the contrary, she indeed go through formal training at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) in Vermont, which is billed as “the leading circus arts training center in the nation.”
Of course, having a background in such acrobatic showmanship makes it crystal clear how Demi acquired the eye-popping bodily elasticity that has become somewhat of a trademark of hers in sex scenes—such as the one in last year’s Super Cute 16 from Hard X, which saw her straddle Codey Steele spread-eagle in about four different positions ... including, at one point, standing on one foot with the other pointing straight at the ceiling.
And there’s plenty more where that came from, not the least of which being an upcoming girl/girl face-off with reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year Vanna Bardot, in an undisclosed feature of which Demi divulges precious little details except this tantalizing preview: “I’m in a full scorpion, so I’m sitting on my neck and my feet are out over my head on the ground in front of me, and she’s eating my pussy. I can’t wait to see that shot come out.”
Suffice it say, neither can we, Demi.
