Tru Kait tells me she fields lots of offers to collab from both girls and guys—something that never gets old.
“But I am usually the one that is so eager to work with everyone,” says the modest superstar.
Her down-to-earth demeanor is yet another reason why the former personal trainer has long been one of the most sought-after collabs in adult.
“I actually still do a lot of reaching out,” Kait reveals. “I never think that I’m too big or that I’m someone that is too popular or too cool to reach out and ask somebody to shoot. And I’ll shoot with anybody.
“The biggest thing for me is if somebody has the same excitement and the same work ethic—no matter who they are—I’m like, I want to shoot with you. So I’m always down to collaborate with almost anybody.”
Kait, who has never had an agent but recently began working with Creators Inc., was one of the first creators who built a high profile with collabs before branching into select mainstream scenes for A-list studios.
“For me if I see value in it and I’m going to be excited about it that’s the only time that I want to do it,” she says.
She acknowedges there’s been moments of tension in the community between creators making the leap to studio porn and performers who already have been established there. But she says it shouldn’t matter—every person is on their own journey.
“To each their own,” Kait tells me. “This industry should just be all love, all support. We’re already probably the most judged people on the face of the planet.
“I think we should just all be here for one another no matter how you got into this industry.”
