“I personally love Pure Taboo scenes, and I knew I wanted to make something dark and familiar to that universe but still fresh and unique,” Vore told AVN.
Codi discussed her excitement about starring in something she wrote herself in addition to what it was like to contribute significantly to a big adult production.
“We had to adjust it a bit to be more of a reality-show aesthetic to fit with the set we had available, but I think that has its own appeal that I really love,” Vore continues. “I really just wanted to make something that I would watch and get off to, and I think we all accomplished that.”
Vore also explained her creative process and how she collaborated closely with Mills and the veteran production team led by Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q.
“I really love writing, and I did write the script myself with Bree’s help as an editor, but a script is not a movie, and the final product is the collaboration of a lot of really talented people,” Vore said. “The process of creating something like this with others was really exciting and rewarding.
“So having this big team of experts who all took ownership of the scene in their own way really allowed me the space to be a performer.”
Vore continued, “I got into the industry eight years ago as a cam model. I discovered that I really enjoyed this industry. I really like the variety, creativity and freedom I get with this work, and working for Adult Time is one of the best parts of my job! Shooting fun, ambitious, or just silly videos really gives me a sense of satisfaction.”
Mills told AVN that teaming with Vore for this project made sense on many levels.
“We’ve been working with Codi pretty actively for the past one or two years,” Mills said. “She’s someone who we have brought on board for just about all of our different series.
“From the very beginning, [Codi] really ticked all of our boxes—great energy, super professional on set, got along very well with all of our different crews and she has a really broad range in terms of the types of scenes she likes to shoot and the performers she likes to work with.”
