Luna Baby started as a dancer in Fresno in 2012 after she graduated from high school.
“I did that for a few years, and then life got complicated,” she says. “Shit got in the way. I lived a ‘normal’ life for a few years, and then COVID happened. I said ‘fuck it’ and I dove right back in. And I have not looked back since.
“It’s the best decision I ever made.”
Luna grew up in the Los Angeles area and her family moved in and out of Fresno starting when she was in middle school. After quitting dancing, she worked as a bank teller, a caterer, and in customer service at Home Depot.
“If you needed your wood chopped, I could help with that,” she says.
Her tattoos weren’t a problem: “I had a stud in my lip, but no facial piercings then. I refused to work anywhere that would make me take anything out, and I had no issues with finding jobs. I can look professional.”
She built a following on TikTok (“I went through many accounts on that site. My last one recently got banned, and that was at half a million. You just start over. It is what it is.”) and other social media, and then started an OnlyFans. “That was a common thing in those couple of years.”
Working cross-platform in social media can be challenging, she says.
“Over the years, I have learned how to make the algorithms work for me and my content. Recently I discovered that Instagram woks better when you use it like TikTok. You can’t post not-safe-for-work stuff on there, they flag you immediately. They shadow-ban you. My account is in good standing now because I’ve turned it into any other social media platform. I’m authentically myself and I feel like that’s what attracts.”
She says her two favorite scenes so far have been one with Seth Gamble for Brazzers (“They were the first company to book me twice back-to-back”) and an anal scene for Bang Bros’ Ass Parade line. Luna, who books through Ricky Johnson, attended the 2024 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and “it
was amazing.”
“I signed at the Inked Vixens booth. My first convention was Exxxotica in New Jersey, and that was
my first experience meeting porn fans. It was really fun. Everybody was so insatiably horny. I had fans even then,” she says.
She grew more comfortable with the fanfare.
“I was already used to it after all my years on TikTok, when people started recognizing me I was like ‘Oh shit, This is going to be a normal thing.’ It prepared me for the fans of porn,” Luna adds.
In her spare time she enjoys going to music festivals (“I love Lost Lands in Ohio. I tell my friends I’m going on vacation and they ask where and I say ‘Ohio.’ It’s the best week of my life. The happiest people, the best music, the best experiences. Money well spent.”), dancing (“I have a background in dance. Growing up in Los Angeles I went to a little studio called Synthesis Studio, right by Universal. I did everything: tap, ballet, jazz, gymnastics, ballroom, bellydancing, salsa, everything they offered I took it. Seven days a week, every day after school. I did competitions and performed at Disneyland.”) and painting: “Whatever I feel like. Sometimes I’ll paint stuff I can put up as wall décor, or I’ll get a bunch of people together and we’ll get canvases and paint.”
She also likes to cook “absolutely everything. I like trying new recipes, or the stuff I know and stick to. Trying a new recipe and nailing it, nothing is more satisfying.”
