“I knew I wanted to do porn...”
In her 1953 hit single “I Want to be Evil,” pioneering Black singer, actress, and glamor icon Eartha Kitt played a good girl gone wrong when she sang,
“I wanna be evil, I wanna be mad, but more than that, I wanna be bad...”
Adult star Nicole Kitt chose her stage name in tribute to Miss Eartha, who is arguably most famous for her 1967 portrayal of Catwoman when she took over the classic cartoon role on the final season of ABC’s “Batman” television series.
Miss Nicole, who is 29 and a clever kitten, wants to be a sex symbol just like her incomparable idol. Kitt is well on her way to adult star status—a career she researched before getting into the business in 2020. A former operations manager in the corporate world, Kitt confessed that she watched the AVN Awards annually as a young girl and wondered what it would be like...
“I used to watch the award show every single year on Showtime when I [younger] and I didn’t know what it was, I just knew that it was glamorous and beautiful,” Kitt told AVN. “When the pandemic happened, I kept getting sent home from work, and I went
down that rabbit hole and realized, I think I could do that—I’d like to try it.”
Since debuting in scenes for NVG Network, Elegant Angel, Pulse Distribution, New Sensations, Brazzers, Vixen, Girlfriends Films, Twistys, and Dogfart Network, among others, Kitt has appeared in two productions for multi-award-winning Euro director
Erika Lust.
In the 2022 Lust Cinema series Ashford Manor, she was cast in a leading role as
Annabel, a lusty young lady pursuing “love and sexual awakening” in the Regency Era romp, à la the novels of 19th century author Jane Austen with a touch of Bridgerton romance.
The high-end production, with its scripted narratives, lush locations, and period costuming, exposed Kitt to feature adult movie-making on a grand scale. She garnered a 2024 AVN Award nomination for Best Leading Actress for the series and also earned an audition for Lust’s next big project.
The Wedding, released last year by Lust Cinema, stars Kitt in the feature-length comedy which was shot on location in Barcelona. The movie was nominated at the 2024 AVN Awards for Best Screenplay and Outstanding Directing.
“I loved Barcelona. It’s calm, it’s quaint, it’s a historic city, comfortable – nothing like L.A.,” she mused. “I mean, honestly, when I first started in the industry and I knew I wanted to do porn—I didn’t know what type, but everyone has an idea, right? I just knew that when I would get up in the morning to go to work, the most exciting part of it was always the script,” Kitt said.
