“I really enjoyed the opportunity to do something new and different.”
Hailey Rose knew her Twistys Treat shoot was going to be good when she got the mood board that summarized her day with every detail.
“They actually picked out everything,” Rose recalls. “I looked at it and said ‘it’s perfect.’ They really hit the nail on the head.”
According to Rose, the Twistys team led by stylist/director Lea Lexis went all out with everything from her bikinis to her jewelry for her exclusive photoshoot and scenes as the September Twistys Treat of the Month.
“Usually I do like to give my input and change some stuff. I like to give them notes back, but I didn’t have to make any notes for this,” Hailey adds.
“I think the shoot went really well and I’m super excited to see it come out.”
Rose modeled outside on a warm day in the San Fernando Valley, sporting three different looks that entailed her posing in and around a lush swimming pool.
While the Valley heat was intense, Rose says the pace of the shoot kept her focused.
“It wasn’t the easiest shoot I’ve ever done, but everything they designed for it was so beautiful and really fit my personal style.”
Rose did her first professional solo video and also paired off with fellow Twistys Treat Kylie Page for her first lesbian scene as part of her Treat experience.
“They let me decide who I wanted and I had shot content with Kylie a while ago and I wanted to do it with her,” Rose says. “She’s super sweet and also has amazing boobs.
“I really enjoyed the opportunity to do something new and different.”
Hailey says the occasion marked her first time meeting Lea Lexis, photographer JT & the crew.
“They were really on top of it,” Rose says. “They were well organized. It was a long day but they kept it moving. They were working well together as a team.
“I really like the teamwork aspect. It’s like my little family for the day. We come together to make this product. I felt that energy with her crew. I felt really welcomed.”
Rose says she noticed the many big-name performers have received the Twistys Treat honor—one of the industry’s longest-running monthly titles that started in August 2005.
