Jia Lissa came to America for the first time in January to attend the AVN Show—and she already wants to come back.
“I want to come back in April for Coachella because it’s my dream,” Jia tells me. “It’s so cute. I like to dress up and wear cute costumes.”
The Russian star—who has been living a nomadic lifestyle for the past five-plus years— maintains residences in Bali and Budapest in between her travels around the world.
Our March cover girl has performed in close to 150 scenes since 2017—including several that have yet to be released—but she’s not counting.
“I shot some new very hot scenes and very interesting collaborations that nobody’s ever seen before with some new performers... It’s a secret,” she says with a smile. “Our fans love surprises. That’s what excites them the most.
“I never count my scenes. I don’t know how many I have, literally no idea. You know I realized I’ve been a long time in the industry when sometimes the scene is out and I’m like, ‘Damn, is that me?’”
When she won her first AVN Award in January 2020 the news went viral in Russia, where the AVN trophy is called the “porn Oscar.”
Lately, however, Jia prefers to avoid the news coming from her home country.
“But my mom, she sends me some articles sometimes,” Lissa says. “Russian news, they like my dirty panties so much because they write absurd things. Because I didn’t give any interviews in Russian since 2019 and I have only maybe a couple and they still try to write—it’s crazy what they write about me. It was 90 percent lie. That’s why I don’t want to read news, I don’t care.”
