Alexis Fawx learned how to garden in Costa Rica, one of her favorite places to visit.
“I love Central America just in general,” Alexis tells me. “I could see myself living there for the rest of my life.”
Our August cover girl went to permaculture school in 2018, honing skills such as how to grow her own food “and work with the environment and nature and not work against it.”
“It’s a flow state. It’s like a moving meditation to go out in your garden,” says Fawx, who takes care of more than 100 house plants.
“You’re touching your hands with the grass and the soil and the dirt when you’re out in the garden. It’s quite beautiful. And to see things you’ve taken from a seed to this teenager plant to this full-grown, adult plant—giving you fruits and vegetables because you’ve given it love—creates this beautiful soil environment with the right microbes.
“I fucking get into it. I love it.”
The Brazzers contract star from Pennsylvania says during the lockdown of 2020 “it kept me good.”
“Cannabis is one of my favorite plants to grow,” Alexis continues. “When you’re growing it, it will tell you when it needs nutrients. It tells you when it’s thirsty. ... The plants communicate with their actions. For me it taught me how to grow other plants.”
She adds, “And when you grow your own food it tastes so much better. I don’t use any pesticides. I’m all organic and natural.”
Not only is the two-time AVN MILF Performer of the Year into gardening, she also likes weightlifting, yoga, boxing and archery.
“I have a cheap bow and arrow,” Alexis jokes. “But I would love a compound one that’s on my [Amazon] wish list. I like the old-school bows, too.”
