“I’m trying to stretch my mind creatively more.”
The newest harp player in LA used to be a farmer and stripper before she became one of adult entertainment’s breakout stars of 2023.
Emma Magnolia grew up with music, playing piano throughout her childhood and learning guitar in high school.
“I always have wanted to play the harp and I feel like I have this new lease on life right now where it’s up to me, where if there’s anything that I want to do or anything that I want to see happen in my life then it’s possible if I decide that it is,” Emma tells AVN.
“And it’s my responsibility to make that happen—and if it doesn’t happen, that’s my fault.
“So that’s my relationship with music right now. I’m trying to stretch my mind creatively more.”
The surging Spiegler Girl started harp lessons this summer and at press time had just written her first song.
“And my harp teacher helped me with some of the details of putting it on paper, so it can be read by another person,” Magnolia says. “I’m very new at the harp so it’s a very basic song.”
Emma also can play the clarinet, drums and a little bit of bass guitar.
“I want to get to the point where I can play music with my friends who are musicians and just have fun and be at that level of skill,” she says. “So I’ve been taking guitar lessons recently and I’ve been taking harp lessons. And I got myself a harp so I can practice it at home. And it’s been really fun.”
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Magnolia moved to Little Rock, Arkansas for 10 years, where she earned a degree in biology with additional studies in anthropology.
She gained lots of professional experience before adult, teaching pre-school at a daycare, curating a cheese collection at a cheese & wine bar, running a vegetable farm and directing a non-profit organization that helped people in need in the Little Rock area.
She says taking responsibility for her choices and creating a fulfilling life path is not a new way of thinking for her.
