International production house Dorcel in July announced the domestic release of new big- budget erotic thriller Missing, starring brand ambassador Clara Mia.
Directed by veteran helmsman and Dorcel artistic director Herve Bodilis, the 172-minute suspense drama is now available domestically on DVD through Pulse Distribution. Joining Mia in the cast are Little Caprice, Marcello Bravo, Ricky Mancini, Tiffany Leiddi, Carollina Cherry, Axel Reed, Tommy Cabrio, Chloé Duval, Zaawaadi, James Duval, Candie Luciani, Alice Martin, Alex Romero, Clémence Audiard, Jimmy Bud and Elisa Calvi.
According to a company synopsis, “In Missing, viewers are taken on a suspenseful journey through the streets of Paris, the sexiest city in the world, just days before Caprice and Marcello’s wedding. The couple embarks on a romantic getaway, but their blissful time together takes a dark turn when Marcello wakes up to discover that his beloved fiancee has vanished. Frustrated by the lack of action from the authorities, who see no of evidence of foul play, he seeks help from Clara Mia, a seasoned ex-Special Forces operative turned private detective.
“Tasked with finding Caprice at any cost,” the synopsis continues, “she delves into the investigation, reviewing CCTV footage from the hotel and uncovering a trail of clues that lead her into a clandestine world of conspiracy theories and secret societies. The investigation takes a chilling turn as she discovers a link between Caprice’s disappearance and a mysterious tattoo shared by her abductors in a video recording.”
Missing combines the same elements of suspense, mystery and erotic action that marked Bodilis’ Revenge, which took home the 2023 AVN Award for Best International Production. Its six scenes range from Caprice’s initiation into a secret society by cult leader Zaawaadi to a star- studded orgy featuring virtually the entire cast.
“Because he’s so gifted with fast-paced action, location shooting, and Hollywood style set pieces, people tend to associate Herve Bodilis with big-budget adult features that riff on mainstream genres,” said Daniel Metcalf, Dorcel’s U.S. publicist. “And that’s not an inaccurate observation. Revenge was not a porn parody, but it did give a ‘tip of the hat’ to movies like Ocean’s 8. Missing is entirely different—a tribute to the films Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp is known for, like Pierre Morel’s From Paris With Love. Missing is certain to please Bodilis’ fans while raising Clara Mia’s profile even higher in North America.”
