Jennie Rose knows how to play to her strengths.
“I’m really good at three things in life—fucking, cooking and painting—and exactly in that order,” Rose says.
She found the right place for the first one.
“I really believe so,” Jennie says. “I love having sex... During the pandemic I was masturbating so much—for like five hours a day because we couldn’t go outside. So I kept watching all these porns.”
Now represented exclusively by East Coast Talent for bookings, the multi-talented Korean beauty tells AVN, “I’m a big nerd.”
“I studied the market a lot,” says Rose, who moved to L.A. from Chicago in 2017 and has degrees in Business Entrepreneurship and Fine Arts from DePaul University.
“I watched so much porn,” she continues. “And I thought, I’m a lot prettier than a lot of girls on the screen, my body is really nice and the industry is lacking a lot of Asian talent. I haven’t seen anyone like me other than Asa Akira. I thought I would go really far in this industry and have a lot of fucking fun doing it.”
Six months into her porn career, Rose already is making an impact on the market, making the rounds on Vixen Media Group’s acclaimed network of sites.
She made her VMG debut with Ryan Driller for Deeper—even though her scene with Lulu Chu for Slayed was released first on November 29. She also counts credits for Blacked and Blacked Raw that have yet to be released.
Rose tells AVN she feels “very lucky” to have met with VMG co-founder and executive producer, Mike Miller, last fall to discuss business.
“I knew I wanted to worked with Vixen,” Jennie says.
About two months before Rose connected with VMG, she did several scenes for HotGuysFuck “because I wanted to learn.”
Even though at press time she had been in adult for six months, Rose says, “I feel like my first three months doesn’t even count because I didn’t start my OnlyFans or anything until my first scene with Vixen.”
Rose came from an ultra-conservative background—her father is a pastor and so is her grandpa.
“So there are no nude photos of me anywhere else prior to porn,” she says. “I grew up very conservative. There was no OnlyFans, nothing sexual or remotely close.”
Born in South Korea, Rose lived in the Philippines from 1 to 3 years old and then moved back to Seoul and Kongju. She moved to Chicago when she was around 10 years old, where she went to middle school, high school and college.
“I have my full focus on porn,” Jennie says. “I love the industry, I really love it.”
