“I really work hard for what I want always...”
She hustled for various marketing agencies, holding positions such as community manager and becoming adept at building brands through social media prior to adult.
But it was her own sexy social media presence that often affected her job status.
“I always have a problem in my life that I really am a sexual person,” LaSirena explains. “I would get fired because they found my social media—my Instagram. There was nothing sexual, ultimately you can’t post nudes. But it was artsy, like I open my mouth with milk inside. And I would post it and get in trouble because I was in a serious company. And I know I get fired because the way I am.
“I was with no work, no job and I was like, ‘OK, what I’m going to do? I need to pay the rent, I need to have a life.’”
So she dialed up a photographer connection and remembered that she knew the owner of the IsMyGirl platform, leading to a life-changing decision.
“I was doing a lot of nude pictures just for fun, just for hobby—a lot of pictures and solo videos,” LaSirena recalls. “And I thought why not? I started selling pictures and I was able to pay my rent in one week.”
LaSirena69 sold nudes and created naughty solo vids for about a year-and-a-half while building her fanbase from Miami. She also marketed herself using all the social media tools she mastered, appearing on radio shows and raising her profile on Twitter and Instagram, where at press time she had racked up more than 3.4 million followers.
“I think I worked on my social media a lot before I start in the industry,” LaSirena says. “Of course when I start in the industry I got more and more fans. Other people ask me if all the fans is because porn but I used to work a lot on my social media.”
LaSirena calls herself “a super workaholic”—but it helps that she loves her job.
“I really work hard for what I want always,” she says. “I think also when you have something that you like to do in life it’s good because sometimes if your personal life sucks—if you’re doing not well in your personal life—at least you have something to do that you like.”
LaSirena started DJ’ing at parties in July, spinning her favorite Reggaeton and Latin music. She loves the sounds of Bad Bunny.
“He’s like my favorite artist,” LaSirena says. “It’s all about Reggaeton. I really like the old Reggaeton, too—I love it.”
LaSirena, who does hot yoga and often goes to the beach in her free time, says she feels comfortable in Southern California.
“I think right now I’m like really an L.A. girl,” she says. “I like hiking. I try to eat really healthy. I really change when I was in Miami and I move here, I’m like a totally different person... I change every day I think.”
