Bell, who is 26, attended an arts magnet school for much of her youth and focused on dance and theater.
“Lilly Bell is a godsend to this industry,” St. James says. “She has the right personality-type to thrive here. She’s obviously a very cute girl but, when you meet her, she’s not what you’d expect. She’s an old soul, very wise beyond on her years.”
As much as she enjoys dialogue-heavy roles, Bell says she doesn’t want to get “pigeon- holed” as someone who only flourishes in feature films. She loves doing BDSM-themed shoots and working for studios who mainly produce gonzo content.
No matter the style, Bell has become a favorite among her colleagues. Male star Nathan Bronson says he can’t help but smile when he’s booked for a scene with Bell.
“She makes you feel like you’re the only one in the room,” Bronson says. “The eye contact, the touching, the whispering and kissing ... she brings you to the point where we forget the camera is there, and we can hyper-focus on what’s going on between us sexually. Very few girls have that ability.”
It all comes natural to Bell, who says she tinkered with the idea of sex work for years before taking the plunge. Bell says she idolized porn stars and strippers during her late teens and dreamt of leading the lifestyle she’s immersed in today.
“I have a vision of who I want to be and what I want to become,” Bell says. “But I know I’ll have to work hard for those things. It’s not going to come easy. It’s not just going to land in my lap. A lot of girls are fighting for a piece of the pie. It’s a battle all the time, but I’m determined to keep going.”
