Now that she made history, achieving goals she set for herself way ahead of schedule, Gianna Dior is pondering a pleasant dilemma.
What’s next?
“I have no freakin’ clue,” Gianna tells me. “I’m not gonna lie. I’m still shooting. I’m still taking jobs, but it’s what I want to shoot. If I don’t feel like it’s going to really do anything for me I’m just not taking the job anymore.”
The 2022 AVN Female Performer of the Year—who is only the third girl ever to capture adult’s biggest individual award after winning Best New Starlet—plans to devote more time to creating compelling content for her OnlyFans as well as traveling and visiting her family in the near term.
“My birthday is [in May] and I’m going to go learn how to surf,” she adds. “I have things planned but not necessarily for adult.”
The soon-to-be 25-year-old star says she loves birthdays “because it reminds me that I’m not old.”
“Let’s use this year to do 25-year-old things instead of 40-year-old things,” jokes Dior, who admits the past four years since her splashy debut in Miami have been a blur, especially last spring when she overcame a debilitating illness that threatened her livelihood and tested her will.
Now she sees the world through a different lens—one that is filled with gratitude and a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures.
“When I’m having a really bad day I go on YouTube and I type in ‘baby sensory videos,’” Gianna says with a smile. “And it’s just like little fruits dancing around and singing. And it literally jumpstarts my mood and makes me so happy.”
