It didn’t take long for the industry to realize Jane Wilde wants it more than most do.
The ambitious native of New York announced her arrival in Porn Valley in 2018 through high-energy performances, professionalism and by showing she cared.
When it’s right in adult, it’s right fast.
Perhaps super agent Mark Spiegler—the owner of the vaunted Spiegler Girls agency— said it best when he told me in October 2018, “Everybody that’s worked with her has really liked her. She’s our kind of girl—reliable and definitely into the sex, especially anal. And she’s very mature for her age.”
“She knows who she is,” Spiegler added. “She’s not a wilting flower of any sort.”
Wilde for her part said during her first interview with AVN in September 2018 that sometimes even she surprises herself with her sexual prowess.
“There are definitely scenes where I cannot believe I did that,” she said humbly.
Flash forward to 2022 and a Jane Wilde scene now is considered money in the bank for producers, directors and studio owners alike.
And not only does Jane already have a few AVN Awards on her resume, she also has some of the most exciting projects of her career in the works.
She sat down with our Senior Editor Peter Warren at her L.A. home for a life and career update for this month’s cover story.
Elsewhere in this issue, we caught up with the Czech sweetheart Little Caprice, who captured her second AVN Award for International Female Performer of the Year in January. Caprice, who is based in Vienna, Austria, has emerged as an influential producer for her official site, LittleCaprice-Dreams.com, which now shoots more high-end sex scenes than many of the established studios in Europe.
