“I’ve presented awards before—like the next year’s Best New Starlet—and I’ve been a Trophy Girl at one point, but even accepting awards I shake like a little leaf when I get up on stage,” Malkova said. “It’s also been a few years since I’ve been on stage and I’ve done a lot of things like feature dancing and I did a Bollywood film—a lot of things that have gotten me out of my comfort zone—so I think I’m going to be perfectly fine and have a great time.”
Malkova in the past year has been busy with her latest project—renovating The Blackberry Castle in Portland, Oregon, and turning the 13,000-square-foot property into a brand on its own.
She and a silent partner purchased the $3.9 million estate—which sits on 6.5 acres— in December 2020 with a vision for transforming the landmark into a “Disneyland” for content creation.
If the Blackberry Castle’s 65.8K followers on Instagram is any indication, so far, so good.
