“I’ve always wanted to host.” — Mia Malkova
A year ago Mighty Emelia hosted a watch party for the AVN Awards Show.
This year she’ll be standing on center stage.
On Saturday, January 22nd, the popular MyFreeCams model will join fellow adult
superstar Mia Malkova as they co-host the 39th annual AVN Awards ceremony, which will be held via an all-digital broadcast for the second time.
“I did watch the virtual show last year with my [cam] room—it was so much fun,” Mighty Emelia told AVN.
The world renowned show—which will reveal the winners in more than 120 award categories—will be live streamed starting at 8 p.m. on AVNAwards.com.
Malkova won the 2014 AVN Award for Best New Starlet, while Mighty Emelia graced the cover of the January 2021 issue of CAMStar.
“I’m honestly just really excited,” said Malkova, a native of Southern California who made her industry debut in 2012.
“I’ve always wanted to host. Every year that I’ve gone I thought, wow I’d love to host the show someday but I’ve always had a little bit of stage fright and I decided it wasn’t going to be for me. But this year with it being in a studio instead of in front of thousands of people was perfect for me.
“It always just looked like they were having a lot of fun up there.”
Mighty Emelia, who debuted in 2014 and entertains her loyal fanbase known as The
Mightys every week on MFC, said the invitation host was unexpected to say the least. “I’m kind of in shock,” Emelia said.
