“I’m all about longevity.”
For a few consecutive nights after Christmas, at her family’s home near Nashville, Anna Claire Clouds experienced something that became rather foreign in 2021.
A deep, deep slumber.
“I didn’t just sleep—I sleeepppttt,” Clouds tells AVN. “I’ve had so much going on lately that,
even when I tried to sleep, I didn’t always fully get there. That’s why the end of the year felt so great.
“I was able to chill out and completely unplug.”
Clouds certainly deserved the break.
A leading candidate for AVN’s coveted Best New Starlet award, Clouds shot more than 100
scenes during the past calendar year. That includes a large number of yet-to-be-released titles, as Clouds was booked 23 times during a 30-day span between November and December.
The increasing demand for Clouds’ services hardly surprises those who have worked with her. As much praise as she’s earned for her performance on camera, Clouds is even more admired for the way she carries herself off of it.
After a recent shoot involving Clouds and Vanna Bardot, Evil Angel director Pat Myne tweeted that the experience marked his “favorite day on set, ever!”
Known for her promptness, poise and positivity, Clouds waited until she was 25 to begin mainstream porn—a decision she credits for some of her success. She took college courses and worked as a model and go-go dancer before halting everything to open a management company for premium SnapChat models.
Eventually Clouds launched her own website and began self-producing content. Midway through 2020—shortly after her 25th birthday—she decided she was ready for mainstream porn.
Now represented exclusively by OC Modeling, Clouds is nominated for five AVN Awards for the 2022 ceremony.
“Sometimes I have these moments when I’m by myself and I think, ‘Wow, I can’t believe all of this is happening,’” says Clouds, who turns 27 in February. “It’s good to have a plan and to have longterm goals. I’m all about longevity.
“But I also want to make sure to enjoy the ride. I want to embrace and relish everything that’s happening. It’s something I’ll never forget.”
