The AVN Awards Show turns 39 this month with a pair of the most dynamic personalities in adult entertainment front and center.
Mia Malkova continues to make all the right moves as a content creator and social media influencer whose powerhouse brand has gone into orbit. The 2014 AVN Best New Starlet winner enters the New Year with 10.2 million followers on her official Instagram account, 2.3M on Twitter and 625,000-plus on Twitch.
How did her fanbase go from tens of thousands to millions in the past decade?
“I think it’s a split between the amount of effort and work I put in and also people knowing who I am from I guess being a fan of mine through all the years while shooting for companies,” Mia tells me.
Clearly, we’re not the only ones who can’t wait to see what she does next.
Mia will be joined this year on the industry’s biggest stage by MyFreeCams sweetheart Mighty Emelia—a sensational talent who can pull off Wonder Woman and a giant hot dog costume with equal panache.
One of adult’s premier cam girls—who dazzled on the cover of the January 2021 issue of CAMStar magazine—also remains one of the most humble. Even months after her issue hit the streets, Emelia still wanted to give credit where it’s due, lauding her loyal MFC members for their unconditional support.
“As much as it is a reflection of a lot of hard work it’s also something they helped build,” Emelia says. “They’re the reason I’m able to cam. So it was a huge accomplishment for it to come together in CAMStar, but it’s also their accomplishment—it’s a shared accomplishment.”
Our January issue also features an international mix of creators such as Germany’s Texas Patti, Romania’s Nelly Kent, France’s Cassie Del Isla and England’s Goddess Molly—all of whom enter 2022 with momentum.
