A self-dubbed “COVID baby,” Maddy May signed up for the triple-X life literally just before the
novel coronavirus took hold of the world—at the last in-person AVN Adult Entertainment Expo
in January 2020.
The Arkansas spitfire had come to the show as a MyFreeCams girl. Getting introduced to
Motley Models agent Ryan Kona at the Motley booth early in the week, she spent the rest of the
convention trying to convince the agency to take her on.
“I was like, ‘Hey ... I’m a whore,’” she recalls with a gleaming grin. “And they’re like, ‘Hmm, I
don’t know.’ And I was like, ‘But I’m a slut, I promise it’ll work out.’ And then finally they did sign
me when they saw more of my personality.”
So far as the timing of her entrée to porndom is concerned, contrary to what some might
presume, she asserts that it was actually uniquely optimal in a certain sense.
“I mean think about it,” she puts forth, “Everything’s falling to shit, right? COVID has ruined
everything. What do I have to lose? If I was going to make a jump to do anything in my life, why
not when there’s a national pandemic?”
Hard to argue with her logic.
