Cadence Lux thinks she’s on her
way to a fun event with new girlfriend
Kira Noir. Instead, her mom (London
River) is reluctantly dropping her off at
a conversion therapy camp, ruled by
Joanna Angel. Director-writer Whitney
Wright takes on a big subject in a big
way in her most ambitious feature yet.
At the vortex is Angel, a religious
hypocrite of the highest order, who
lusts for the young girls she’s trying to
“save.” Joanna sinks her teeth into the
role, making her one of the all-time great
villains, mouthing religious platitudes
before whipping out a foot-long dildo to
use on petite Kenzie Reeves.
Cadence is touching as the 19-year-
old victim who is betrayed by her feelings
for Noir, who reappears briefly for sex.
She finally conspires with a fellow inmate,
cute trans Daisy Taylor, to find a way out.
There are five high-octane sex scenes,
none hotter than the volcanic interaction
of girl/girl icons Serena Blair and Scarlett
Sage as two girls who just don’t take this
shit seriously at all.
