“I was a social worker for seven years
in Barcelona, but I got bored.”
Betty Foxxx is on a journey. “I have been traveling the world and
learning everything I can,” the 32-year-old European performer
says. “It has brought me to Los Angeles.” Born in Spain, the
charming, 5-foot-2-inch petardo (that’s “firecracker” en español)
says she was always very free sexually and, as a trained actor and
dancer from an early age, she sees sexuality as part of her artistic
expression.
“I was a social worker for seven years in Barcelona,” she says,
“but I got bored. I wondered how I would express myself artistically.
So I took a long trip.”
That trip took her to Costa Rica, to England (where she learned
English as a stripper—which is the best way to learn English), to
Berlin and Prague and Amsterdam (where she performed in “soft”
live sex shows), then back to Spain, where she shot MILF movies
with Nacho Vidal.
“Being a sex worker—dancing, performing in porn films—means
you need to know people,” she says. “Being a social worker
helped me with that.” But now she wants to be her own boss,
working toward her license in massage therapy while adjusting to
the American style of porn via recent shoots with companies like
Team Skeet.
“Sex is a business everywhere,” she says, “but Los Angeles is
the center of that business. Here it is fun but at the same time there
is a schedule that I did not see [in Europe]. It is busy, busy, busy.”
Within that schedule, Foxxx notices human interactions and likes
the way “porn people” relate to each other.
“I feel a lot of respect in porn,” she says. “It’s different from
dancing because I feel less competition. People are nicer.”
