The series, which debuted in
February, features some of the
adult industry’s leading actors
and actresses providing voices
to the characters.
“We have created totally new
and original characters, different
from those we’ve done in the
past,” Nathaniel said. “It’s a mix
of fantasy characters and other
traditional anime characters.
In one scene, we have a gym
teacher who aggressively
chastises a student. It’s just in
this case, it’s a giantess.”
According to Nathaniel, in
each episode of Hentai Sex
School the stories are the first
focus, and the sex just comes
naturally out of the narratives. It’s a process that’s
worked for Animeshin Club in the past, and proves
popular amongst fans.
“It’s all taught me that there’s a market for what
we’re doing,” he said.
Lending their talents to the project are April O’Neil,
Jake Adams, Wolf Hudson, Whitney Wright, Dee
Williams, Chanel Preston, Dana Vespoli, Kira Noir,
Eric Masterson and Donnie Rock. Mills directs
the actors for each of the
episodes. The project was
a challenge, Mills said,
since it required direction
different from most Adult
Time projects.
“It’s an improv workshop
style here. … Imagine a
chaotic assembly line,” Mills
said. In live action, actors
and actresses can rely on
facial expressions and hand
gestures. In animation,
much of that must be
translated through voice
inflections, timbre, etc. In
a makeshift sound studio
in Sunland, Mills worked
with the actors to capture
more than just the words on
the script; each line could
require several takes to best
serve the animation of each
character and episode.
As for the animation, the
two-man crew at Animeshin
Club steadily created 1
minute of animation each
week since the pact with
Adult Time was inked, which
is above average when
compared to companies
with larger workforces that
are producing mainstream
projects. Working in adult,
with more creative freedom,
Nathaniel said, has allowed
more potential for the studio.
“We’ve very lucky to be
working with Gamma and
Adult Time on this project,”
he said.
