K AY CARTER
Kay Carter was on her honeymoon when
she was contacted by Amateur Allure for a
shoot. “We’ve always had a give-it-a-shot
mentality as a couple, so that’s what we did,”
she says matter-of-factly in the honeyed tones
of her native Arkansas. “It kind of fell into my
lap,” Carter says.
So far, she says, her two best scenes have
been with Mark Wood and Ramon Nomar.
“Ramon was a lot of fun to work with, and I
absolutely adore working with Mason [for
Hard X]. She is a hell of a director. I love when
they have a specific vision and they want to
execute it. You get it done, and it’s a solid day.
She was very helpful and informative.”
Carter is focused on building her career but
she also has long-range goals: “I want this
to be able to give me the financial support I
need to be able to go to school and have a
sustainable career for my family.” She’s aiming
high, too: “Aerospace engineering. It’s been a
dream since fifth grade.”
