DEMI
SUTR A
Interviewing Demi Sutra is like popping the
cork on a shaken-up bottle of Champagne:
Everything comes out in a gush, and it’s all
good.
She got into adult entertainment by
deliberate choice. “I saw Playboy Playmates
and I thought, ‘You can get paid for just
being a hot ... bitch? And owning your
sexuality? I want to be that.’ So I worked my
way up the ladder.” She started stripping
in New Mexico (“God-awful”), and says,
“I always felt nerdy and awkward with my
body, but when I got on stage, the dudes
and the girls were just in awe. You can tell.
Then I felt grace. And power. And that was
a taste, and Demi Sutra evolved from that.”
Sutra shot her first scene for Reality Kings
in Florida. She says her best scene so far
was for Kelly Holland’s new Chick Media;
“Oh my gawd, I have never felt more
inspired by anyone than this woman [Kelly
Holland]. I love her.”
Sutra has two distinctive poker-chip-
sized birthmarks right below her ribcage.
“They’re like North and South America to
me. Everyone told me to cover them with
makeup.” But Sutra says, “I don’t like
covering them. I’m not here to be perfect.
I’m not here to represent perfection in
women. I want to be unique … and now,
I want to change my Twitter handle to
CumOnMyBirthmark.”
