There’s no denying Axel Braun
knows his stuff when it comes
to superhero porn parodies. But
Deadpool XXX: An Axel Braun
Parody could very well be his
crowning achievement in the genre.
First off, there’s the casting. Seth
Gamble was a perfect choice
for the title character. And Brad
Armstrong delivers a Cable that’s
so reminiscent of Josh Brolin’s
version it’s a shame we don’t get
more.
Early on, Deadpool XXX: An Axel
Braun Parody gets pretty meta,
giving a bit of a behind-the-scenes
look at how adult films are made.
Casual fans of porn will appreciate
the humor, and grizzled veterans
will get the inside jokes from non-
sex players James Bartholet, Will
Ryder and Braun himself.
Braun—and everyone in his cast
and crew—hits every note, from
the stellar costumes to the witty
and laugh-out-loud script to the
editing to the title cards and all the
incredible sex and amazing acting
