The sign by the door says “The
Hands Transition House For
Wayward Girls” but it’s actually
a house of despair. Operator Mr.
Hands (Tommy Pistol, with yellow
shades, slicked-back hair and
the sleaze factor turned up to 11)
greases the local cops to keep
things quiet (“As long as the girls
are over 18,” cop Dick Chibbles
observes, in the prologue) as he
forces the girls to webcam and
collect their used underwear for
sale. The only light in this dark tunnel
comes when Victoria Farling (Casey
Calvert) from Westfield Industries
calls to recruit a young woman
to sponsor, and selects plucky
redhead Anne (Eliza Jane). Things
are much better at the mansion of
“Daddy” Westfield (Derrick Pierce),
but many plot twists ensue before
the multiple happy endings—
including major payback for Hands.
Judicious use of high-contrast
desaturated color adds to the forlorn
look. The production received 10
AVN Award nominations, including
acting nods for Eliza Jane, Tommy
Pistol, and Sarah Vandella.
