“You have to do things like
appearances to keep your name up
and stay relevant with fans.”
After a porn career with more than 800 credits, Britney Amber
is showing no signs of slowing down. Movies, feature dancing
and maintaining a web presence compete for her time. She
just turned 33, has been an adult star since 2008 and a dance
attraction for almost a decade.
Among her big movies this year is The Motorbunny Club,
directed by Kay Brandt for Adam & Eve Pictures. “I got three
scenes and every one has the Motorbunny in it.” And she was one
of the all-star performers in Climax, also directed by Brandt but
for French company Marc Dorcel. “They had their whole French
crew come over here ... I was so proud to be a part of that.”
Amber’s career as a sex worker began at Nevada’s Moonlite
Bunny Ranch. She was motivated after watching the HBO series
The Cathouse while working the graveyard shift as an auditor for
a hotel. She contacted late owner Dennis Hof and he told her to
come by. She worked for three years before debuting in porn.
Of all the movies she’s done, her favorite is Barb Wire XXX for
Dream Zone, released in 2012. “The box cover was amazing, so
gorgeous! It was so legit, it was even better than the original.”
Currently, her only problem seems to be that she’s too much in
demand. “I’m turning down stuff I would really love to do for stuff
that I’m not really enjoying. So if I had to pick, I would do movies
more than anything. You have to do things like appearances to
keep your name up and stay relevant with fans, so that’s why I
want to keep feature dancing in my career.”
Amber also keeps up her web presence. “Cherry Pimps still does
my website. I do live shows on there.” And she has a YouTube
channel where she puts up “storytimes about being on set or at
the Bunny Ranch or behind the scenes on set or at expos.”
She is all about forward motion. “I’m so grateful my career has
had this big resurgence in the last couple years. It keeps goin’
up and up and up and up. It’s like, ‘Don’t stop, keep goin’ up!”
