“I want to guide women on
ways to be a successful porn
star but to not lose sight of joy.”
According to the old adage, “Pretty is as pretty does.” And in the
case of Charlotte Stokely, her inner self is every bit as lovely as its
slender, blond outer wrapping. Empathetic, insightful, articulate,
warm, witty—those are a few personality traits one might ascribe
to AVN’s reigning All-Girl Performer of the Year.
When Stokely came on stage to claim her trophy at the 2019
AVN Awards, it was the culmination of a lot of hard work and
tenacity. After she entered porn in 2005, her pale, blue-eyed
beauty ensured a steady stream of interracial hardcore scenes.
But after a year and a half, she stopped doing any boy/girl. “It
was too hard on my body,” she says.
Over more than a decade of working strictly girl/girl, Stokely
forged a top-tier reputation. In 2012, she signed a contract with
MetArt and SexArt—“that really helped push my girl/girl career.”
And in the last couple years she’s only gotten better, with critically
acclaimed acting roles for such directors as Wicked’s Axel Braun
and Sweetheart Video’s Ricky Greenwood.
Now Stokely is adding a new facet to her career: a consulting
business that will let her share the wisdom she’s gleaned studying
holistic healing, nutrition, sex education and life coaching. Her
new business can be found at TheGreatestFeelings.com.
“I want to guide women on ways to be a successful porn star
but to not lose sight of joy, creativity, environment, mental health,
spiritual health. … I want to help women focus on hygiene, self-
care and certain foods to eat and certain foods to avoid based
on their bio-individuality to really help them age well, because
our bodies are our business,” she explains.
Stokely feels she can help people because she’s been through
some tough times herself: “I’ve been there, I recognize it; I healed
myself. … I did it, I lived it, I learned it, I’m teaching it.”
Stokely wants to be “the Oprah of porn,” and merge her two
passions—porn and helping people. And she hopes to make the
industry better overall. “We need girls to be strong, empowered
women with a business sense who are here for a reason.”
