SOFIA MOON
Sofia Moon started performing in May of 2018. Moon
recalls, “I was working in a fast-food restaurant, literally
flipping burgers, and I got a message on the train, on the
way to work. I had always thought of it in the back of my
head, but I’d been too scared to do it, but that time, that
moment, I was like — Yep, this is what I want to do.”
Her first scene: a b/g in Florida. “I was super nervous,
super timid. A lot different performer from what I am now.”
She spent two weeks in Florida before returning home to
college, and decided to move to Los Angeles to continue
working and studying dance. “I’ve never been anywhere
but the East Coast, but I was ready for a change. There
was a culture shock. It’s weird getting in a car every
day—people walk really slow. In New York, it’s minute-
by-minute, and L.A. is calm. I’m still getting used to it.”
Aside from the sex, Moon enjoys other aspects of the
adult industry. ”The industry is a melting pot of people. You
never know where people come from, their background,
what they did before this. … I’ve learned and absorbed a
lot from other people. It’s helped me grow as a person.”
Asked what she’s learned, Moon says, “How to value
time. And patience. People have taught me to sit back
and enjoy things. Absorb the moment right now. That’s
something California taught me.”
