ARIA
HA ZE
Aria Haze taxied into the adult industry
after quitting a job at Sky Harbor airport in
her native Phoenix: “I didn’t work for a few
months and then I realized I needed money
to survive, and I came across a producer
who worked for Nubiles, and he introduced
me to the whole porn world. He set me up
with an agency and that’s when I started to
shoot porn.”
She shot solo scenes for two months
before dropping out for a year. “I just started
again in November, and now I’m doing boy/
girl, girl/girl, all of it.” The first solo scenes
were “something new, and different, and
kinda scary at first, but after the first three
times you get used to it.”
Haze says the non-routine working hours
and traveling are advantages to working in
the adult industry: “I’ve traveled. Nothing
extravagant, but I’ve been to Baltimore, to
Iowa, places I wouldn’t have been. I like to
see something new where I haven’t been.
I’m a sightseer. I like to see the monuments,
and see how beautiful each place is. I’m
from the dry desert, so going someplace
where it’s green and cold is very exciting.”
She’s also made “a ton” of new friends in
the industry. “They’re really fun. We have a
lot in common.”
Now, she says, “I just want to get my name
out there. That’s what I’m looking for. I want
people to say ‘Aria Haze’ and they’ll think of
my face. It’s slowly happening.”
