Private investigator Dana Vespoli
worries that her work is ruining
people’s lives. She’s reassured by
husband Mark Wood, but when
we see her telling a cuckolded
husband that wife Reagan Foxx is
getting serviced by studboy Lucas
Frost, we see what she means.
Foxx’s purred “I wanted a real man
to fuck me today” to Frost drives
the infidelity point home, but not as
strongly as the hand wielding the
pistol that interrupts the afterglow.
The next subject, Syren De Mer,
interrupts the surveillance to offer
Vespoli a glass of water, but despite
the hospitality, Vespoli returns to
observe De Mer in flagrante with
Van Wylde—but when reporting
back to the husband, Vespoli covers
for De Mer, probably because of
what happened that last time. When
De Mer’s son Small Hands catches
Vespoli snooping inside De Mer’s
house, she buys his silence and
then, that night, tells hubby Wood
that she’s dropping the case.
Kudos to writer/director Jacky St.
James for casting mature performers,
and for the clever screenplay.
