the scene. He fit the role of the fashion mogul perfectly. Wearing
a tailored, purple dress shirt and matching purple loafers, Ryan
embodied all the attributes my character masked behind fluff and
fur.
As Ryan and Whitney’s characters met on screen, I filled the
empty white space behind them by carrying a strobe light and
fiddling with its knobs. Then I cut into their conversation to
demand that Whitney fetch my models. I was ready to shoot. Ryan
chastised me for speaking down to her. My humiliated reaction
didn’t require much acting.
The sex scene that followed played out as though Kay had
plagiarized my PA fantasies. Logan led Aaliyah and Bridgette to a
poolside cabana with promises of pastries. When it emerged that
Logan had falsified the pastries, the women still fucked him. The
only explanation for why they would choose a PA over me, a famed
photographer, was that the models were suffering from hunger
hallucinations. I did not bring this plot point up with Kay. I just sat
quietly behind the camera’s view, on the opposite side of the pool,
and watched my furry reflection waver and dissolve in the water.
After the sex scene, the models return to the studio. Ryan and
Whitney laid out dialogue that would lead to their first sexual
encounter while I questioned the models in the background.
“Why would you fuck the PA over me?” I asked in my accent,
“I’m like the Kanye West of photography.”
“I know,” Bridgette said, glancing at Ryan. “Wouldn’t we fuck
someone more important, like the owner?”
“Cut,” Kay yelled.
I continued with my questions, though I dropped the accent.
“Do performers ever fuck PAs?”
They said that off camera performers occasionally fucked costars,
photographers, producers, directors—everyone but PAs.
With the scene wrapped, Aaliyah, Bridgette, and I returned to
the dressing room to take off our costumes and climb back into the
outfits we arrived in.
“So what do you do outside of here?” Aaliyah asked. “Are you a
mainstream actor?”
I decided it wasn’t the best time to announce that I worked as a
porn PA.
“No,” I said. “I’m just pretending to be an actor.”
“Isn’t that what actors do? Pretend.”
“I’m too shy to be a real actor.”
“What? You were the most confident person on set,” she said.
“That accent was killing us.”
I smiled. I had assumed everyone on set could see through my
act. I have a tendency to perceive in others all the confidence I want
to project, and none of the shared insecurities. But maybe we are
all pretenders, not nearly as confident as the public personas we
project. The question is, which is more real: the inner self we hide
from others, or the person that others see in us?

Site Launches to Serve
Cosplay Community
Cosfans.com, a site developed to service
adult-themed cosplay stars and their fans,
launched this spring and has seen widespread
adoption, according to CM Productions, the
company behind the venture.
CM is the same company behind BaDoink,
BaDoinkVR, VRCosplayX and Cliptopia.
Cosfans.com has seen 50 leading cosplay stars
join the site already.
Cosfans CEO Justin Byson remarked, “It’s
obvious that we are filling a need for the cosplay
community, and that really excites us.”
Netherlands-based Amber Sonata (pictured
above), announced as the first Cosfans
spokesmodel, cited the brand’s commitment to
developing a platform that “ensures models have
the best resources and features available” as a
key reason behind her decision to join the team.
The launch of Cosfans marks the first step
of the company toward meeting its goals of
providing content and interaction to the growing
adult-oriented cosplay community.
Byson added, “We see a need for a resource
that is authentic to the cosplay community.
We’re in constant communication with our
models and fans to find out more about their
desires and how we can best serve them.”
Cosfans users will enjoy model contests,
giveaways and more episodes of the series
‘Cosfans LIVE!’ all lined up for the coming
months. The site currently features custom clip
features in addition to crowd-funds, where fans
are able to contribute toward a model’s projects,
typically travel expenses to a conference or
materials for a new cosplay.

Ashley Sinclair Debuts
Ashley4K.com
Performer Ashley Sinclair ups her offerings
to fans with the launch of new all-4K website
Ashley4K.com.
The site offers an array of content including
boy/girl, girl/girl, solo, striptease, jerk-off
encouragement, roleplay and fantasy. It
will also present monthly features and star
showcases, with the first—starring Sofi Ryan
and Alina West, and directed by Jakodema—
released in June.
“We’ve got a lot going on with
Ashley4K.com right now,” Sinclair said.
“We have just hired Jakodema, one of porn’s
most respected directors, who has shot for
companies such as Digital Playground, Twistys,
Mile High and Screwbox. His work is amazing
and we’re happy to have him on board.”
“Viewers can look forward to seeing a
feature showcase from me every month, along
with other top names in the industry—all
beautifully shot in 4K,” Sinclair promised.
Ashley4K.com will release two updates per
week, consisting of clips from Sinclair’s XXX
archives, a new showcase clip, plus a featured
video update. Many adult stars and fetish
models are scheduled to perform on the site,
as well as on Sinclair’s sister specialty sites
Nylons4K.com and Humiliation4K.com.
“We have developed a unique and user-
friendly content delivery structure that works
very much like Amazon,” Sinclair explained.
“Consumers can rent or buy individual clips
and movies, and those who rent may stream
at resolutions up to 1080p, while those who
buy may stream resolutions up to 1080p and
download at resolutions up to 4K.
“Many updates will also have high-quality
photo sets as well as an option to view,” she
added. “Customers can choose to simply
join and receive all updates as part of their
membership.”
