Vanessa Sky ‘I fangirled a little bit’
Born and bred in Miami, Vanessa Sky jumped into porn for the
fun of it. She knew a photographer who worked for Reality
Kings, and when the opportunity arose, last March, she took it.
“One day I was bored and I tried it out and I absolutely loved it. My
first shoot was for Bang Bros, with Derrick Ferrari, and it was
the BangBus—we had sex on the bus. I was driving around
Miami and it was great fun.”
She transitioned to Los Angeles at the behest of L.A.
Direct, the agency she later left for her current home,
Spiegler Girls.
Her first Porn Valley scene was for BAM Visions, with
Mick Blue. “I fangirled a little bit when I saw him. I was
like omigod! It was a lot of fun. I did my first anal scene for
Evil Angel, and Mike Adriano. Also a really great guy. I also
fangirled a little bit too.”
She says she wasn’t quite awake when her agent at the time
called her. “‘Do you want to do an anal scene tomorrow?’ I was
like, sure. I was half asleep. He insisted on calling at eight
in the morning. He sent me all my information for
my scene and I was like, ‘Wait a minute, I’m doing
an anal scene?’ So I called him up, ‘I don’t know if
I’m ready.’ ‘C’mon, do it, you’re a big girl.’ And I
was like, ‘All right, I can do this.’
“So I think I read every chapter of Asa Akira on
anal, doing anal with her husband Toni [Ribas]. And it
was great.” The Wicked Pictures contract star has been an
inspiration for Vanessa. “After reading her book [Insatiable], I
really wanted to give this a try.”
One of her ambitions is to someday work with Ribas.
“Cause he’s awesome. He’s also extremely attractive. And I would
like to work with Asa too some day—a threeway would be awesome!
My dream sex scene would be a super-submissive scene with Toni.”
She positions herself as a submissive. “I’d love to work for
Kink.com, doing my favorite kind of kinky stuff.”
What she really loves about the adult industry is “great sex and
great co-stars. I’m always in my best mood when I’m on a set.”
Off-set she enjoys music. “I’ve played piano since I was like five,
and I love it. Every time I’m on a set and there’s a piano I’m like, ‘It’s
going to be a great day, guys.’
She also loves to paint. “Very abstract stuff. It’s just really fun,
getting messy with paint and putting on the paper.”
The subject of art brings up her tattoos. “I have quite a few, all very
spontaneous. Rose on my shoulder. Feather on my arm. A tiger on
my arm. And my favorite song, a Billy Joel song. A dog on my hip, a
heart on my ankle. My actual initials, which I have to get removed
some day. The chakra going down my back. A treble note behind my
ear. And I think we covered it all.”
She laughs. “I don’t know about getting more. I think I’m done for
now.”
A source of pride for Vanessa is her Latin heritage. “Both my
parents were born in Cuba. I’m first-generation American. I’m
completely Cuban, I go there every summer to visit my family. It’s
beautiful, I love it there.”
But for now she plans to be in Los Angeles for a while. “I have to
go and get a California drivers license.”

‘I wanted to do something fun’
Avi Love started in porn right at the top, partner-wise. The first
person she had sex with on camera was Ryan Driller, one of the
most in-demand male stars. She knows it was a big deal. “It was
for Naughty America and it was a lot of fun. I’m glad they chose me for
my first scene.”
The date was October 1, 2016, a momentous day for her. And
things have only gotten better since. She’s worked for many of the
top companies, including Brazzers, Girlfriends and Kink.com, and is
currently headlining The Game, a Stormy Daniels feature from Wicked
Pictures.
Avi attended high school in Las Vegas, where her favorite classes were
“theater and volleyball.” After she graduated, she says, “I had a lot of
jobs. I was a lifeguard for two years. I worked front desk at a few different
spas. I was a host.” She laughs. “But I wanted to do something fun.”
Like so many others Avi found her path to porn online. “I saw an ad
looking for adult models and signed the contract. And here I am.” The
job was in Vegas, where she still lives, commuting to Los Angeles for
work.
She’s happy to be doing what she’s doing. “I like to be in front of the
camera. I like performing. I like to have sex, obviously.” She laughs (she
laughs a lot). “It’s a lot of fun to me.”
That may be why her “words to live by” are “The only way to do great
work is to love what you do.”

Mark Wood for LeWood.”
Boy/girl or girl/girl, which gets her off the most?
“I don’t really have a preference, I like both.”
Something else she likes is Seth Gamble. “He’s nice, he’s
easy to work with.”
Avi sports a belly-button piercing, but she’s tattoo-free and
plans to stay that way. Away from the camera, she says, “I’m very
outdoorsy. I like to hike and snowboard. I just into
snowboarding, it’s a lot of fun. I trek to Colorado.
Oh, and I love to swim, I was a lifeguard for two
years. I worked at the pool at Mandalay Bay.”
As for her porn career, “I want to take it as far
as it will go. I want to win awards. I want to be on
the top one day.”
She seems to be off to a good start.
