There aren’t enough words to
praise this ambitious feature, a
true statement piece for Next Door Studios. Directed
and co-written by Rocco Fallon, it clocks in at nearly
three-and-a-half hours—but it isn’t balls-to-the-
wall sex that fills the space, it’s incredible attention
to story, dialogue and performance, highlighted
by career turns for its entire cast. Everyone here is
superlative, and it’s a testament to their talent that
they can keep you intrigued with their characters and
plot arcs—you actually want to see what happens
to these people, and you root for them. This would
make a great film or show even without the sex—
it’s natural and nuanced, funny and heartbreaking,
relaxed and relatable.
Mark Long allows best friend Markie More to
move in with him to help him out. Meanwhile,
neighbor Quentin Gainz earns cash on the side with
a webcam show—when he isn’t getting annoyed by
roommate Jimmy Clay, whose loud sexcapades keep
the neighborhood awake. Gainz confides in friend
Ty Thomas, who’s questioning his own sexuality.
Paths and desires connect in unexpected ways, and
the extensive dedication to dialogue and story make
the sex all the more explosive when it happens—
highlighted by Gainz’s encounter with casting
director Dean Phoenix, a fan fave returning after a
long absence. Not just one of the best films of the
year, but an instant all-time classic. Bravo!
Meanwhile, janitor Erik Rickhard wants to learn
more about the “dick stuff” that goes on at the
clinic from Franco Scott, the two strokers joined by
Matie—who gets his holes filled by the hung daddies
(“Back up on my dick,” instructs Scott as his fuzzy sac
tickles the smooth bottom’s ass). Rickhard returns
for another threesome with doc Stephen Harte and
dirty-talking assistant Chris Harder, who want to
