Victoria June
From the Bronx to Porn Valley
Victoria June remembers watching Ava Devine’s porn
scenes before venturing into adult herself.
“I love her. I love how she was just crazy and sexual and
very energetic and just like happy. It kind of reminded me
of me.”
Indeed, June brings her own high-energy style of
performing to the set, making the curvaceous Latina beauty
one of the adult industry’s brightest newcomers on the rise.
To say she had an adventurous streak before she got into
adult would be an understatement. The half Dominican,
half Puerto Rican native of New York worked as a stripper
before porn, making regular trips to Scarlett’s in Miami in
between splitting time at Rick’s Cabaret and Vivid in New
York City.
Then last summer everything changed when a fellow
dancer at Vivid Cabaret connected June with a friend of hers
who did casting and needed a girl who was uninhibited for
an upcoming video shoot.
It turns out the production was Girls Gone Wild and June
had to fly to a familiar spot—Miami.
“I didn’t know if it was porn. I had no idea what it was. ...
I was like, OK, if things don’t work my way I still have a job
there. I can go dance.”
June, who met Natalia Starr, Jill Kassidy, Cindy Starfall
and Gina Valentina at the Girls Gone Wild shoot, came up
with the quick stage name of “Victoria Vice” for the day.
“But I didn’t like it. It was too badass,” June jokes. “Then
June, ah, June. It balances the Victoria out. And plus, June
is the month that I decided I wanted to do porn, so that’s
why June.”
The GGW shoot went well and June enjoyed meeting
some of the top girls in the adult business, so much so that
she was intrigued by the possibilities.
By the third week of July, she was back in Miami making
her porn debut.
June flew from Miami to LA in early September, racking
up more than 50 scenes for leading studios such as Jules
Jordan, Evil Angel, Hard X, Mofos, Brazzers, Kelly Madison
and Blacked.
A self-proclaimed “beach girl,” June likes to be active
above all else.
“I like to play volleyball. I like to tan. I like to swim. I like
to take selfies. I like shopping, maybe for an hour, not too
long because I get frustrated. I like doing yoga for exercise,”
June reveals.
“I’m very outdoorsy. I don’t watch TV. I feel like if you
sit in front of a TV you’re wasting your life away and you’re
not enjoying your life; you’re living through someone
else’s life and I would rather they live through mine. I like
meeting people and going outside. I can be walking the
dog and I’ll talk to someone and become best friends with
them.”

SADIE POP
‘You should be happy doing what you want to do.’
Sadie Pop moved out of her native Brooklyn at age
5 (“after 9-11”) and grew up in Florida. She was
stripping in Tampa “for a little bit, but I liked more money,
so I thought, ‘Why not do porn?’ I was offered lingerie
modeling, but I decided to do porn. Made a little bit more
money.” She watched her first porn at age 10 (“It was
lesbian porn. It was awesome. I still remember the site:
MyFreeLesbianSex.com. I don’t know if it’s still around.”)
and it turned her on to girls. “I started getting horny and
stuff. I didn’t know what that was. I used to say ‘tingles’ or
‘tingly.’ I love girls.”
Pop says she likes performing in the adult industry
because “I like how comfortable I can be with myself, and
how I can fit in. I don’t feel like I have to go by anyone
else’s standards. I feel like you should be happy doing what
you want to do. I have pleasure with what I do—and it pays
well. That’s also a good factor. I love sex, especially eating
pussy and sucking dick. It’s the best thing.”
She attended AVN Adult Entertainment Expo as a
performer in 2015: “It was fun interacting with fans,
signing pictures. There were some celebrity appearances.”
Her favorite scenes so far are a g/g with Tia Cyrus for
Team Skeet (“I love how she made me so comfortable, and
I swear that after that scene I became a lesbian. I just love
eating pussy now.”) and a scene with Bryan Gozzling (“I
had my first and only orgasm in my life with him. I really
want to work with him again. He did something with his
fingers and I squirted.”)
Pop’s dream scene is a three-way with Janice Griffith
and Gina Valentina, and she’s looking forward to her first
anal scene. “I’d rather stretch out my ass than my pussy.
Less painful and I won’t get so many infections. I’m prone
to those annoying infections.” She wants to remain in the
industry after her performing days end. “I want to see a lot
of weird shit. Something nobody has seen before. Bryan
Gozzling is doing different stuff. I don’t want to do that
exactly, but something different.”
She spends her off time bingeing on movies and TV
shows. “New age horror. I can sit on the couch and I won’t
leave the couch for, like, a week. Prison Break is awesome. I
just did Shameless.”
Her words to live by: “Treat someone how you would
want to be treated.” She explains: “It’s the easiest, simplest
thing.”
