POSITIVE ATTITUDE
Kayden Gray of NakedSword Originals
In this month’s Cybersocket spotlight is 32-year-old,
6-foot-1 dreamboy Kayden Gray from NakedSword
Originals (Cybersocket.com/link/tsnzd). Kayden
appears in the new NakedSword Originals release
Kiss and Tel Aviv and also in International Playboys. In
addition to his good looks and stunning physique,
Kayden is a gifted model and performer. Off camera,
he’s an incredibly nice guy with a wonderful
personality and a heart that is definitely in the right
I
place. Kayden has been openly HIV positive since
almost the beginning of his career, and he says that
journey has been one of the biggest challenges of
his life. In an effort to help others, Kayden now
serves as one of the directors at a recently opened
London branch of the Impulse Group, a non-profit
that works to raise awareness about sexual and
mental health around the world and helps people to
improve both.
How did you hook up with NakedSword Originals?
I started working for NakedSword when mr. Pam
was filming in the U.K. last year (in 2016), which is
when I filmed a scene for International Playboys with
my “sister-in-crime” Mickey Taylor.
What’s it like to shoot with NakedSword?
I’ve shot three scenes for NakedSword in the last
year and they were some of my favorite experiences
on set. mr. Pam is the most loving and genuine
person you’ll ever meet, not to mention her
outstanding creativity and her understanding of a
director’s role. She treats her models like family and
goes out of her way to make us feel comfortable and
welcome. There are other studios I very much enjoy
working for, but there ain’t nobody like Pam.
I heard you’ve been in college. What did you study?
I don’t go to school/uni anymore but I did study
English philology at a university in Poland, and then
musical theatre at a college in the U.K.—neither
of which I graduated from, since my idea of what
I wanted to do changed from one year to another.
These days I know I want to film. I’m just not really
convinced it’s porn that I’m interested in shooting.
I also definitely want to work in sexual health
activism.
How did you get started in the adult industry?
I was spotted online by an affiliate working for
Men At Play in 2012. I wasn’t comfortable with
doing almost anything on camera at the time, so
I got a pretty clear “No thank you” after I applied
as requested. It was possibly also because I was
too slim and boyish at the time. Six months later
when I finally decided to take the leap, I was put
in touch with Lucas Entertainment, which was the
first studio I worked for starting in March 2013.
Eventually Men At Play started hiring me, too,
about three years later—so very recently.
Are you interested in any kind of non-adult
performance art?
I am and always have been. In fact, I used to
dance, sing, write, and produce my own songs
under the name Voytek. I got an EP called Lollipop out in
2010. It’s made almost entirely of demos of questionable
quality but I invite you to check it out at my Voytek music
channel on YouTube at YouTube.com/VoytekMusic.
I’m a decent lyricist. I enjoy acting and spend a great
deal of my free time alone, doing just that and also
filming stuff. I haven’t got much to show for it apart from
what I post on social media and my extra work in the
Absolutely Fabulous movie released last year. There’s more
to come, though.
Something about yourself that most people don’t know?
I’ve been HIV positive for about 3.5 years, which
is almost as long as I’ve been known in porn. The
experience of living with HIV has been one of the
most challenging ones for me, and the truth is that it
doesn’t have to be. Only, that would require that more
people start talking about it and engaging others in the
process, regardless of their status. This has led to my
recently becoming one of the directors at a newly opened
London branch of the Impulse Group, which is a non-
profit working on raising awareness and improving the
condition of the sexual and mental health of gay men
(although not only gay men) around the world. Our aim
is to build a platform by organizing parties where people
feel safe to be themselves and where the conversation
about sex continues. Basically, a place where people
can have a shit ton of fun while getting a better idea of
how to make choices that are better for them. … You
