‘THE SPACING FOR THE VIBE PROGRAM WAS PERFECT AND
I PARTICULARLY LIKED THAT I COULD SHORE UP DETAILS
WITH ORDERS THAT I COULDN’T DO AT THE OTHER SHOWS.
ALL OF MY GAPS HAVE BEEN FILLED HERE AT THE SHOW.’

ANE 2017 | By Kim Airs
Long-established manufacturer Sportsheets was another company that enjoyed
a successful return to ANE. Tom Stewart shared, “We haven’t had a booth in
years. We met new buyers and distributors, wrote orders, had good meetings, and
basically had a very productive show. The rhythm was manageable and I liked the
format of the VIBE program. We’ll definitely be back!”
Bryan Hylton, the creator of the sex harness LuvRydr, was very pleased with
the show. “Showing our product on mannequins made a big difference. Many
retailers wanted to know who to buy our product from, and while we sell through
distributors, we also sell direct. We’ll support our retailers any way we can! The
show’s been great and we’ve been non-stop the whole time.”
The field of exercise and fitness was represented by ExerSEXology’s Monique
Glass-Hollowell, who brought her book and card game promoting sexual fitness to
ANE. “It’s like ‘Uno’ for adults! We have two booths here—one in the consumer
area and one here in the B2B section. We sold out on the consumer side. And
while there’s been less sales here in the B2B side, we are developing more
relationships with buyers and distributors here. It’s been good and we’ll probably
be back.”
Roger from Spartacus was effusive in his praise for the show. “It’s got a
great vibe about it: very welcoming, well organized, and it’s really beautiful
here. Everyone is nice and supportive and ten times better than the other
manufacturer’s show we attend. We’ll definitely be back!”
FT Toys was represented in the Alexander Institute booth, helmed by industry
vet Meir Sharony. FT, the maker of the popular G Vibe, had brand ambassador
Marco Tortoni present in the booth to answer questions about the many products
available.

BRIGHT IDEAS Above, the MotorBunny team reached both consumers and trade through their AEE booth, lighting
up the crowds by handing out illuminated rabbit ears. At Channel 1’s ANE booth, trade buyers got a look at Rascal’s line of
glow-in-the-dark toys. Photos by Chris King.
