The items on display even crossed over to what may be
considered children’s toys: Giant Microbes offer plush, stuffed
versions of common germs and cells, including sexually transmitted
ones like HIV, syphilis and chlamydia that can be used for sex
educators to show what germs look like. The Giant Microbes
representative said that feedback from the attendees was positive
and they were interested to hear explanations of what these furry
creatures actually were. Giant Microbes hadn’t done the adult
category before, and the rep said they will definitely be coming back
next year.
Eddy from Lovense said his team connected with the retail buyers
they were seeking. “We don’t use distributors because of our tight
margins, so this was a great opportunity to go directly to buyers at
the retail level. It’s been a good show with an eclectic group.”
Cousins Group Distributors showed off their Pink Pussycat and
Gold Lion enhancement pills along with the 14-SKU Bonnie Rotten
line of toys. They will soon be expanding with Alexis Texas toys and
other starlets and agreed that the show had gone very well.
Indiana-based Pole Buff, a sliding pole cleaner and polisher for
pole dancers and studios, first started the show in the consumer-
filled Joint at the Hard Rock but moved over to the B2B area after
two days. “This side is better for us because we can talk directly to
buyers,” shared Cherie Devir from Pole Buff. “We’re here to get the
word out about our unique, patented product and we’ve had some
great interest in it. Giving out sexy tank tops and gift bags definitely
got the conversation started, too!”
Major manufacturers Nasstoys and Topco shared much of the
same enthusiasm for the show. “We already signed up for next
year!” exclaimed Nasstoys co-founder, Elliot Schwartz. “This was
a very good show with new buyers who were not familiar with our
line. I wrote a lot of orders, too!”
Autumn O’Bryan, Topco’s new COO, shared her enthusiasm.
“This was a great show with a great vibe. It’s totally different than
the other shows and Vegas contributes to that. There are a lot of
international buyers here as well as new buyers,” she said. “This
show is a great place to build and solidify relationships and is more
relaxed than the other shows. We weren’t in a rush and everyone
was generous with their time. We haven’t done this show in ten
years and are definitely doing it next year.”
