Lithuania was represented by Merkins.eu, hawking whimsical stick-on pubic hair coverings for, you guessed it,
the pubic area. (Merkins are often used in gentlemen’s clubs where full nudity is not legal—these can make it look
like the women have coverings on when they actually have VERY little to cover). The CEO of Merkins, Tomas
Siuipys, was looking for distributors at the show and excited to share his new product. The company started last
year in Europe and had done the Venus show in Berlin, which was very successful, The Merkins come in a huge
variety of shapes and colors, including kitty cats, pride colors, V shapes, landing strips, long hair, short hair, flags
of many countries—pretty much any color or design you can imagine, you can stick on your private parts for that
special touch. The company calls them the “Downstairs toupee!”
The island country of Cyprus was represented by the Sexy Ice Cream Licker, putting forth a way to practice
oral sex skills. The AVN Adult Novelty Expo was the launch of the product, which is an adult ice cream “cone”
licker made of smooth plastic. The lucky licker pushes up the bottom and ice cream comes out of an anatomically
correct opening (male or female—eater’s choice). “The response has been enthusiastic because it is a unique,
new item,” shared Yiftach Laron, the CMO of the company. “We’re here to find distributors and get people to talk
about a new way to eat ice cream in the U.S.” And yes, they are getting a U.S. patent on this dessert treat.
