by Male Performer of the Year nominee Derrick Pierce, a
panel discussion by transsexual performers led by Grooby’s
Kristel Penn, and educational workshops by sexperts,
including Wicked Pictures contract star Jessica Drake.
In short, the place was a madhouse. And for first-time
exhibitors and veterans alike, the mood couldn’t have been
brighter. Representing the former camp, Kissa Sins—who
was joined at her Sins Life outpost by partner Johnny Sins
and AVN Female Performer of the Year nominees Veronica
Rodriguez and Katrina Jade—enthused, “I love it so far.
I call it Vagina Disneyland. It’s been fucking awesome, I
love it. I really love the fans. It’s really fun to be able to
represent your company, it’s fun that we’ve taken our little
hobby of a sex website and made it into a real website.
We’re very proud of it.”
“The show’s been going great so far,” Johnny Sins
observed. “It’s the first AVN where we’ve had a booth. ...
The fans have been great. Everybody’s interested in the
couple aspect with myself and Kissa.”

Playground shared a walk-through booth. “This is so much
fun,” exulted new talent Lena Paul. “I am dancing, and
meeting fans, and having a good old time. It’s a party. I’m
looking forward to seeing more of these beautiful women.
It is really difficult—as a woman who has sex with beautiful
women every day—to see all of these gorgeous girls and
not touch and have sex with them. I have to keep my hands
to myself,” she pouted.
In the back of Muse Hall, the Blacked/Tushy/Vixen
booth drew lots of attention. Surrounded on two sides by
tall black walls and the other two sides by red velvet ropes
on gold stanchions, the red-carpeted platform featured a
full bar, a lounge area, a photo booth, and several stylish
lecterns for signing. Performers entered the booth wearing
pink satin boxer-style robes bedecked with VIXEN LAS
VEGAS 2017 in rhinestones, disrobing to reveal branded
bras and G-strings or bodysuits to sign.
“We’re getting a lot of compliments on the booth,”
director Greg Lansky said. “We’re trying to take care of
everybody and doing it right. I designed it myself. I just
wanted a cool space for friends to interact. … We want to
get exposure for the brand and have a good time.”
“I’m representing for Blacked.com. I shot my first anal
with Tushy,” Chanell Heart said. “I’m happy to be here.”
Also signing were Vicki Chase, Carter Cruise, Ana
Foxxx, Keisha Grey, Peta Jensen, Karla Kush, Eva Lovia,
Abigail Mac, Ariana Marie, Valentina Nappi, Anya Olsen,
Riley Reid, Lana Rhoades, as well as Kendra Sunderland,
named Vixen Angel of the Year during the show.
Across the aisle, performer Melody Kush was among
those live-camming for Chaturbate. “I love the high-profile
opportunities here, I love the exposure. Ultimately, this
show is about meeting other people. ... This is a way to
bring everybody together, this is like the Mecca of porn.”
