Brent Corrigan has worked in both mainstream and
adult entertainment as a performer, director, writer
and producer. Off camera, he is also an experienced
equestrian. During a brief hiatus from entertainment,
Corrigan focused on his horseback riding and then
began a porn comeback with Falcon in 2014. Last year
he appeared in Deep Release and About Last Night
from FalconStudios.com. During this period Corrigan
also met his partner, Falcon exclusive JJ Knight.
This year Corrigan achieved a new career milestone
with the release of Ultra Fan, a project produced
by NakedSword.com for which Corrigan served as
writer, director, and star. In a fun twist, the plot has
Corrigan playing himself and being blackmailed into
making a porn comeback. Corrigan recently received
a Lifetime Achievement award at the Grabbys (see
page 42). Follow Brent at Twitter: @brentcorrigan.

How did you first begin working with Falcon?
I came to Falcon during the Chris Ward era. I was
struggling with the distractions that come with less
productive-oriented, professional studios. I’d always
looked up to Falcon for their production quality, the
caliber of models working for them and their ability to
transcend decades in media. Though managing a new
company was not of interest, directing was. I’d directed
small adult releases for my previous studio. Behind the

camera, creative tasks and decision-making has always been more stimulating for me. I am so pleased that
Tim Valenti has made that dream a reality with the release of Ultra Fan. It’s out now from Naked Sword. The
concept and direction was heavily collaborative with my team. However, D.P. Wells, a gay porn newbie, was
elemental in stringing the writing and non-porn media together.
What is your next project?
We head into production shortly here on a project designed to springboard off of Ultra Fan. It will include
parts of the adult project, but it’s fundamentally designed to appeal to the LGBT/queer media spectrum of
film. It’s no longer enough to just make a single porn film!
What’s it like to work with Falcon Studios?
Well, distractions are a boner killer. Keeping those to a minimum is key in keeping performers focused.
Falcon is great at that. Though I will say I was most at ease as a performer when directing myself in Ultra
Fan than I have been on any other contemporary era project (I took a four-year break from adult media a
few years back, segregating my career trajectory.) I suspect I was most comfortable as a performer on my
own set because I knew my success was largely based on what I was willing to do. When you’re working for
yourself, all the little things you thought you wouldn’t or didn’t want to do for someone else just sort of ...
fall away.
Do you get much fan mail?
I do! I used to keep a blog and I got most of my mail via the comments section. I would approve each
comment after reading them. In the last year I’ve deferred to just using Twitter. It’s hassle free. Being
an adult performer that needs to promote porn-related media isn’t an issue there. Facebook has been a
constant source of frustration for me and I’ve stopped posting there entirely. I do not keep an Instagram
account. February 3 was my 13th anniversary for my first scene ever filmed. After 13 years in porn, people
are coming up to me more and more to tell me I helped usher them into the gay community. Watching
me at such a young age, just being me and living my life my way, seems to have made a great impact on
peoples’ lives. If I’d known people were watching and taking note, I think I would’ve made better choices.
But alas, you can’t rewrite your past!
What are some of the best things about working in adult entertainment?
For me, it’s nice to see an era of more inclusion. I don’t recall the industry being this way. I always
felt like I wanted to “belong” here, but it was years before I felt I was truly wanted. Porn producers and
performers, we are storytellers that use our bodies and our sexual edge to create something for our
community. There aren’t many people out there who could do what we do. It takes a truly original kind of
man or woman. I love that about us!
Are there any downsides to working in adult entertainment?
If you don’t have self control or the ability to manage your time and energy in a productive, balanced
manner you will burn out fast. Until you feel what that’s like, you won’t know how scary it is.
Are there any social or political issues that you feel strongly about at the moment?
More than ever it’s time to get out there and support your media community. Whether it’s the gay porn
world or other LGBT projects—film, theater, music, art! We don’t know what Trump has in store for us. But
with or without him, as creative people with media to share and sell, we’ve been feeling the harsh realities
of piracy for years. Scene rates have dropped even in the highest paid arenas to a level that would infuriate
most buying consumers. Please, men and women, lovers of queer media and porn—get out there and show
your support by paying for the porn you consume. Whether it’s buying a few minutes through AEBN or
going to the cam shows of your favorite performers to tip them, it all keeps us right where we are. We
would much rather perform for our fans and viewers than revert to something like escorting. Unfortunately,
escorting is harsh reality for a performer in adult media today.
Some of the more visible adult stars can’t hide their media career from employers. Being an adult star is
tremendously liberating! But it’s a commitment in more ways than one. I’d love a day job!
